You Can See Everything

The Theranos Story - Private Viewing

Come and join your fellow founders and investors to see the almost unbelievable story of Theranos and Elizabeth Holmes.

Elizabeth Holmes built a $9 billion company on a single rule. Nobody gets to look inside the machine. Investors wired her $945 million without ever seeing audited financials or a working blood test. Rupert Murdoch alone put in $125 million. Henry Kissinger sat on the board. When anyone asked to verify the device, the answer was trade secrets.

Which makes the title of her redemption film the darkest joke in it. You Can See Everything.

34 days before an 11 year prison sentence, she invited a camera crew to document her every move. And of every filmmaker alive, the one she let into her home was Nathan Fielder, a man who has spent 15 years proving that people perform for cameras and the performance is what gives them away. His method is sitting in silence until subjects fill it with things they shouldn't say. Media training is useless against that, because there's no question to deflect.

The fraud ran on making sure nobody saw anything. The comeback was a bet on letting one man see everything.
