​Join us at Tejá House for Sculpting Sound w/ Ema Reis where we will be listening to D’Angelo’s Brown Sugar as we work with Mitsuro wax to sculpt small, one of a kind pieces inspired by intuitive play or whatever the music brings up. There’s no right or wrong way to create, and no experience is needed. Just come as you are, let the music move you, and see what takes shape. There will be space to sculpt, share, exchange thoughts, and connect with others along the way. Tea will be curated and served by Téa Okou while pastries will be provided by Cha’s bakery. For those who’d like to take their creations a step further, there will also be an option to have your sculptures casted for an additional fee.

​Téa Okou (pronounced tay-ah oh-koo) is a tea salon and listening club, born out of a need for good tea and human connection through music. This space exist in the hopes to bring back the normalization of bonding and connecting over music centered conversations with friends and people within the local community, and to create a no-pressure, sober social space that encourages the act of being more present across all senses.
