Welcome! I’m Melissa Plourde (LSW, CGCM, CDP, CPC) a caregiving and eldercare Expert on Sam (The Support Platform for Women). I’ve spent my career working with women in the thick of it. I know that caregiving can be brutal.
The key to staying whole while caring for someone else isn't doing more—it’s understanding how you naturally function under pressure.
In this intimate, 60-minute Sam Salon, we are going to get practical. You will:
📚 Find out which caregiver archetype you are. Once you understand your natural "operating system," you can stop wondering why certain parts of caregiving feel so draining for you.
🛑 Spot the signs of burnout early. We’ll look at the common patterns we all share so you can recognize when you’re hitting your limit before you actually crash.
✅ Make a Care Plan for YOU. You’ll leave with a weekly Care Plan for yourself and—just as importantly—a specific list of what to ask for from the people around you.
We keep these groups small to ensure we have the space to talk through your specific situation. I’m looking forward to seeing you there.
