Sam's Book Club — CBUS Stop

​A conversation about books, progress, and why we still bother reading.

​When I started this book club in June, the mission was simple: read books worth reading, and see if others wanted to read them too. Those books have come from the Stripe Press catalogue — so far, Maintenance: Of Everything (upkeep is invisible until it's neglected), Get Together (communities are built and sustained, not just started), BOOM: Bubbles and the End of Stagnation (stagnation is motion that stopped compounding), and currently, Poor Charlie's Almanack.

​The NYC meetups have, by far, been the best part of the whole project — you simply cannot replace in-person connection. I'm now bringing that same energy to Columbus: a group conversation about progress, with people who like to think out loud together.
