Fund Ready Financials for Social Ventures (Workshop)
The FundReady Program is an invite-only event series. Only invited attendees will be accepted. Ensure you're registered to receive access to the Zoom room.
In this Finance for Founders session, strategic finance expert Christopher Parrott will provide a high-level masterclass on why founders must prioritize financial literacy from day one. Drawing on his experience as a "mini-CFO" in the fintech space, Chris will demystify core concepts such as validating the economics of your idea, navigating the four essential financial statements, and understanding the operating metrics that drive a business forward. This overview is designed to give entrepreneurs a "Finance 101" foundation, covering everything from day-to-day management to fundraising basics, ensuring you speak the language of investors and partners.
Following the presentation, Chris will transition from theory to practice by hosting dedicated office hours. These one-on-one sessions offer select founders a rare opportunity to work directly with a CFA candidate and financial modeling expert to tackle their specific individual challenges. Whether you need help with scenario modeling, unit economics, or refining your growth strategy, Chris will be available to provide personalized advisory and benchmarking to help you run your business with precision.
