We’re delighted to invite you to AME’s upcoming networking event: “Your Journey to Innovation.”
Join us for a full day with talks, workshops and interactive sessions to discuss the most recent innovations, how you can be an innovator and what opportunities are there for Muslim Engineers to innovate in their respective fields.
You will be joined by experts in their fields and many likeminded professionals enriching your network with Muslim engineers in every field and experience.

Here is the schedule for the day:
10:30 - 11:00 AM -> Arrival + Ice Breaking Activity
11:00 - 11:20 AM -> Welcome & Opening Remarks
11:20 - 11:50 AM -> Keynote Talk: "Innovation of the Islamic Golden Age 🔭" by Salahudeen Ayub
12:00 - 12:20 AM -> "Unlocking Innovation Funding 💷" by Hassun El-Zafar
12:35 - 13:30 PM -> Hands-On Innovation Workshop: Participants will be divided into 6 teams to tackle 3 Innovate UK themes, developing and pitching ideas.
13:30 - 14:30 PM -> Break: Lunch/Networking 🍔 + Dhuhr Prayer
14:30 - 15:30 PM -> Team Presentations & Q&A: Each team presents their idea, followed by questions and feedback from a panel.
15:30 - 16:00 PM -> Breakout Sessions:
A. Purpose-Driven Research: "Exploring the journey of returning to academia to pursue impactful research🔬" by Dr Nabeel Ahmed
B. From Idea to Startup: "An honest look at building a business: covering challenges, team dynamics, and what it really takes to get started 📈" by Azhar Quaiyoom and Qamar Khan
