​⚡️ Here's to a flagship AI hackathon!

​​Come for an evening of coding, creating, and connection

​Whether you’re a seasoned hacker or just curious about AI, this is your chance to dive into hands-on projects, swap ideas, and maybe even win some prizes. Expect food, merch, and plenty of surprises to keep the energy high all evening.

​​This event is open to any student at the University of Maryland. Curious about AI? Want to build something? Want to get involved? All are welcome.

​We are open to students of any major. No team? No problem! We will have a team formation opportunity in the beginning. Can't code? Never been to a hackathon before? Now's your time to come to one :)

• ​​Joining the club: To attend our events, please make sure you are formally registered at go.umd.edu/anthropic.

• ​​RSVP: Please RSVP with your Terpmail.

• ​​Check-in: Be on time to check-in at Discord for complimentary Claude Pro and API credits!

• ​Waitlist: Due to space/food capacity restrictions, there is a waitlist.

• ​Devpost: Join our Devpost here: https://anthropic-maryland-2025.devpost.com/. People checked into our event and Devpost (by submission deadline) will be eligible for prizes.

​Schedule

• ​BEFORE THE HACKATHON: Claude demo, team formation, rules, how to submit

• ​6:00 PM: Doors open, check-in

• ​6:10 PM: Check-in closes, welcome dinner, remarks by special guests

• ​6:20 PM: Hacking begins

• ​7:20 PM: Hacking ends, submissions close, teams report to assigned locations

• ​7:30 PM: Project expo: teams present their project in assigned locations

• ​7:50 PM: Raffles, closing remarks, group photos

• ​8:00 PM: Dessert

• ​8:15 PM: Hackathon winners announced, venue closes
