About Event

Join the Employee Climate Action Network (ECAN) as we celebrate how everyday people are taking meaningful climate action at work. This session explores how you can create a positive “green handprint,” which is the opposite of a carbon footprint, by advocating for systemic climate solutions. ClimateVoice's Campaign Director, Jennifer Allyn will moderate a dynamic conversation with employees from four different countries, who will share their experiences creating change from the inside.

Whether you’re a new employee looking to get involved or a seasoned green team leader, this webinar will give you insights and inspiration to champion progress in your workplace!

Our expert speakers include Babette Brinkman, Professor of Organisational and Group Psychology at Cologne University of Applied Sciences, and Barbara Kump, Associate Professor of Business and Sustainability at the University of Twente. Together they wrote The Green Handprint at Work, which was published this year by Bristol University Press.

Our featured employees include:

  • Ambar Paulino is a Senior Learning Specialist at Pinterest, designing enablement programs that power Support Operations at scale. She also co-leads PinPlanet, the company’s employee-led climate group which harnesses the creativity and energy of the global team to make more sustainable choices.

  • Tomo Saric founded the Sustainability Working Group at the Medical Faculty of the University of Cologne. Tomo is a research group leader at the Institute of Physiology, using stem cell-based models to investigate the molecular mechanisms of genetic heart diseases.
