Scrolling kills NYC by Opal
Scrolling Kills started as just an idea back in 2022. We kept saying our phones should have the same warning labels as cigarette packs. One day, we made it real, printing “Scrolling Kills” stickers for our phones.
People loved them so much that we started hand mailing them to thousands of Opal users around the world.
In 2024, the U.S. Surgeon General officially warned that social media can hurt our mental health.
That pushed us to go even further: we took LED trucks with Scrolling Kills across New York and SF, gave out hundreds of t-shirts and stickers, and got people talking everywhere.
Now, we're taking it to the next level: putting Scrolling Kills up on a massive NYC billboard.
More than anything, we want this campaign to bring people together in real life, have good conversations, and we want you to be part of this Movement.
