About Event

Most people in finance use AI like a search box, one question at a time. This workshop shows you how to set Claude up to work the way you do, then build a research agent that does the gathering and the watching for you. You leave with both running on your own laptop, not a folder of notes.

Who this is for Analysts, investors, and finance professionals who do real research in markets and want to stop doing the repetitive parts by hand. No coding background needed.

What you will learn By the end of the four hours you will be able to:

  1. Explain what a CLAUDE.md is and why it changes how Claude works for you

  2. Write your own CLAUDE.md that captures how you research, what you track, and the standard you hold your work to

  3. Build a working research agent focused on finance

  4. Connect it to the information sources you rely on and decide what it should watch for you

  5. Run it on a real research task and refine the output until it is genuinely useful

What you will walk away with Your own CLAUDE.md file, written and ready to use. A working finance research agent, tested live on a real task. A repeatable setup you can adapt to other questions and other parts of your work. Starter templates so you never begin from a blank page.

Format:

The first two hours focus on your CLAUDE.md, understanding it and writing your own. The second two hours are the build, where you create your research agent, connect your sources, and run it live before you leave. It is built around doing, not watching.

What to bring:

A valid Claude Account with a Pro plan subscription, a personal laptop and the research questions you find yourself asking every week.
