The AI-Native Talent Hunt with Codex - #SFTechWeek
Your resume can't show how good you are with AI. This competition can.
The AI-Native Talent Hunt is a live, in-person competition. You get a real problem from a real company and work on it from 11:30 AM to 3:30 PM with any AI tools. Each work is sized for about an hour, so you can do more than one. We score your result and how you got there.
Schedule
Sunday, October 11
10:00 AM: Doors open, sharp, not before. Check in, set up your laptop, meet people.
11:00 AM: Opening: the companies, the works, a live demo, the rules and the prizes.
11:30 AM: Works open.
1:00–2:00 PM: Lunch, provided, in shifts. The clock keeps running.
1:15 PM: Prize drawing.
3:30 PM: Submission deadline.
4:00 PM: Prize drawing.
5:00 PM: Awards and group photo.
5:30–6:00 PM: Networking, then we wrap at 6:00 PM.
About RSVPs
About 1,500 people have registered and the venue holds 200 in total. Entry is first come, first served from 10:00 AM sharp, so going doesn't guarantee a place.
If you can't come, please switch your RSVP to Can't Go now so someone else gets your place.
If we're full, there's a waitlist at the door. Waitlisted guests are let in only if a spot opens before 1:00 PM. We'll post in Discord the moment we're full.
You can only compete in person: the event code is shown only at the venue.
Prizes
Overall 1 | $1,000 + 5,000 Codex credits (worth $200)
Overall 2 | $500 + 2,500 Codex credits (worth $100)
Overall 3 | $300 + 1,000 Codex credits (worth $40)
Each of the 3 track winners: $200
A top-three winner can't also take a track prize. It goes to the next person in that track.
Two free prize drawings, at 1:15 PM and 4:00 PM, for our merch and cash prizes of up to $50. Your name-tag number is your ticket, and you must be in the room when it's drawn.
What to bring
A personal Mac (Apple chip or Intel) or Windows laptop, and your charger. Chromebooks, iPads and Linux don't work. Company laptops often block the screen-recording permission NeoWork needs.
Your LinkedIn URL or résumé PDF, and access to your email on that laptop. Account setup asks for them, and we send a sign-in code by email.
Any AI tools you plan to use. The first 200 people at the venue get free Codex credits, so make sure you can sign in to others too.
Lunch is provided. If you have a strict diet, bring your own food to be safe.
Keep your belongings with you: there's no bag area.
