AMA with Laura Ward
An open hour with Aurora facilitator Laura Ward to ask whatever's on your mind.
Laura brings together 30+ years of meditation practice with a lifetime of work in movement, dance, and embodiment. She teaches Movement for Meditators at Michael Taft's retreats and leads workshops with Aurora exploring presence, awareness, and the body as a site of inner work.
Bring your questions about her workshops, about practice, about the body and meditation, about whatever's alive for you. No agenda, no recording. Just an hour together.
Free and open to all.
About Laura
Laura Victoria Ward is a somatic movement educator, choreographer, and Laban/Bartenieff Movement Analyst with nearly 30 years of teaching experience in New York State, the Hudson Valley, and internationally. She is the artistic director of Octavia Cup Dance Theatre and has been meditating for over 30 years, including extensive study of nondual awareness with Michael Taft.
Her work draws from Laban/Bartenieff, Emilie Conrad's Continuum, breathwork, meditation, hands-on bodywork, and experiential anatomy. Movement, awareness, equanimity, expression, and radical self-acceptance are foundational to her somatic practice — grounded in a sense of the infinite wonder of existing in a human body.
