BitDevs: Jimmy Song on the ProductionReady Bitcoin Client

​Join us at Alloy26 in Pittsburgh for a BitDevs-style session with Jimmy Song, who will join virtually to present on ProductionReady, a new conservative Bitcoin client initiative focused on open-source development, Bitcoin client diversity, and long-term protocol resilience.

​This presentation will cover why Bitcoin may benefit from a third serious client implementation, how conservative software defaults can help preserve Bitcoin’s monetary properties, and why node operators having real software choices matters for decentralization.

​Jimmy’s talk is expected to be similar to the presentation he recently gave at BitBlockBoom, followed by group discussion and Q&A.
