​💡 The challenge

​Moto Reloaded is exploring how technology could support a secondary market for protective motorcycle gear through reuse and upcycling. How could your unique perspective and app help shape the process, from a rider taking a photo to deciding whether an offer should be made?

​We’re looking to see how you imagine that process working. Bring your curiosity, ingenuity, and favourite AI tools to bear on a solution, drawing on development, design, image analysis, or motorcycle-gear knowledge. Explore where technology can help and where a person’s expertise fits in. Work in a team of one to four, or come on your own and join one on the day.

​🛠️ What we provide

​The challenge materials and guidance you need to get started and understand how your solution will be scored:

• ​🧥 Real gear, a photo dataset, expert input, and the scoring rubric.

• ​☕ Workspace, Wi-Fi, morning refreshments, lunch, and afternoon snacks.

​Bring your laptop, smartphone, and tools and subscriptions of choice.

​⛴️ Travelling from the Lower Mainland?

​If you’re coming from the Lower Mainland without a car, let us know in advance and we’ll arrange pickup at the ferry and drop-off afterwards.

​🏆 The details

​💻 Build and share: Create your solution on the day, then present it in a five-minute demo and short Q&A.

​🥇 First place: CAD $1,000
🥈 Second place: CAD $500
🥉 Third place: CAD $100

​📝 Participation: You must be 18 or older and sign a participant agreement covering ownership and licensing before building. You retain ownership of your work.

​🛡️ Safety: Solutions must not claim to certify a garment’s protective performance or recommend offers on crashed gear or gear damaged or repaired in protective areas.

​🎯 Keep it focused: Listings, shipping, repairs, and model training are outside the challenge.
