Spec Launch Party: A Live Music App for Tulsa

​Spec is a new web app for finding live local music, built here, launching here.

​Most music apps are built around bands. Spec is built around people. Every musician is a node — tap a drummer, see every band they play in, follow the thread until you're somewhere you didn't know existed. Swipe the map to see who's playing tonight. Adding a show is as easy as saying "Spec, add a show." The app is free for fans and musicians.

​Tuesday, Sept 22 at The Colony. Doors at 8, after happy hour. Come early for more music, get a refreshment, pull up Spec, and leave a photo or a comment on tonight's show.

​At 9, Knipple plays until 11. They're the reason this app exists — Jordan and Nicholas are the rhythm section behind half the bands in this town, two people and dozens of connections, standing on one stage.

​No panel, no deck. A bar, a demo, and a loud duo.

​Builders, bartenders, fans and band members, and anyone who's ever asked "what's going on tonight?" — this one's for you.
