​I’ll share how Arklex has used open source to engage developers and build trust, starting from our open-source agent framework and evolving toward ArkSim, our simulation-based testing work for AI agents. I’ll talk about why many AI agent failures only show up across multi-turn conversations, tool calls, and task handoffs, and why we believe agent testing needs to become part of the developer workflow before production.

In this session, I'll first teach you how to write '源來適你' correctly. Then, I'll share a story about how a group of Taiwanese engineers started contributing to open source, and eventually became core maintainers of several critical global OSS projects.

These speakers are young and talented OSS engineers. They will share their key contributions, offering not just a technical deep-dive, but also a look at the potential impact they are making. The projects our 源來適你 community is involved in include Kafka, Airflow, Kubespray, Ozone, Mahout, Ray, Flyte, etc. To avoid burning out the audience, this section will randomly pick a few projects to highlight. Don't worry, the selection cost is O(1)!

  Chun-Yen “Arbit” Chen is the co-founder and CTO of Arklex AI, an AI startup with teams across New York, the Bay Area, and Taiwan. Arklex builds simulation-based testing infrastructure for AI agents, helping teams test agent behavior before deployment through multi-turn user simulation, agent readiness evaluation, and CI-style testing workflows.
