GEC 2026: Initial briefing for prospective UK delegates
The Global Entrepreneurship Congress is returning in September, and we are seeking to build a record-breaking UK delegation to participate. As announced in Davos last month, GEC 2026 will take place from September 21-24 in Doha, Qatar.
If you have received our invitation and wish to learn more about the event before deciding on whether to attend, this session is for you!
We will briefly introduce GEN and the GEC, covering the event background, structure, content, and key audiences. We'll also run through how the UK delegation helps make the most of the event, along with travel and logistics information. And we'll be joined by some previous UK delegates who will share their experiences.
Over the past 15 years, the GEC has developed into the most impactful and influential live gathering of entrepreneurship ecosystem players in the world. GEC 2026 will gather over 5,000 entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, and support organisations from 180+ countries for four days of talks, workshops, and above all, networking. It’s the one truly global community for ecosystem builders, focused on sharing innovative approaches to empowering entrepreneurs everywhere. You can learn more here: https://gec.co
Last summer, we convened the largest-ever UK delegation to participate in GEC, with 47 UK ecosystem experts heading to Indianapolis - representing the second-largest visiting delegation. In September, we’re looking to break that record, with an expected 70 UK delegates heading to Doha.
We hope you can join us for this friendly, informal briefing session!
