Passion Projects SF invites you to our first preview exhibition at 111 Minna in the Zappa Gallery in San Francisco.
Those of us who work in visual effects and post production know these artists for the extraordinary images they have helped create for film, television and games. But there is another side to their work.
The paintings. The drawings. The sculptures.
The work they make for themselves.
Passion Projects SF was created to celebrate that work and the artists behind it, bringing their personal creative practices out of their studios and onto the walls.
For this first preview exhibition, we’re featuring the work of Joel Aron, Leigh Barbier, John Bell, Joe Ceballos, Jiri Jacknowitz and Kim Smith, with more artists and exhibitions to come.
We’ll be sharing 111 Minna that evening with artist Randy Gaul, making for an evening filled with art, friends and community.
