Sustainable cooking lesson 1
We are passionate about nutritious and healthy plant-based food!
It's been 10 years since we both went vegan (for the animals but we then learnt how beneficial this is for the environment and for our health too), and now that we are about to start a food business, we also want to start sharing the knowledge that we have gained during these 10 years, after a lot of research, experimenting in the kitchen and a macrobiotic course that we both attended last year at a study house in Belgium!
Alfonso has also obtained a vegan chef degree from a chef's school in Greece in 2025 so we know what we are talking about!
Our first cooking lesson will include the following dishes:
1) A fast and easy to make scramble (macrobiotic) tofu, ideal for breakfast.
2) Miso soup which keeps our guts happy and healthy. A natural antidepressant!
3) A macrobiotic dish with beans, greens and miso.
4) Brown rice (in pressure cooker) and gomashio to top it.
5) Kinpira (long cooked route vegetables)
6)Short cooked green veggies with ume paste & sesame sauce.
and last but not least
7) A sugar free macrobiotic dessert.
Bring a notepad, and a pen. We don't encourage keeping notes by typing. But of course you can take photos or/and videos.
Fee: Donation based for students and 200-300 kr for people with an income. We prefer the Give-what-you-can as ideology that's why it's vague. You can send the money via SWISH or with cash.
** We would never deny someone who wants to learn but can't afford to give anything so if you want to come but can't afford any donation just send an email to elisabetdimitra@hotmail.com.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
We can have up to 8-9 participants.
