Celebration and Silent Auction for India Giving Day
Building on last year's breakout success, we're hosting a gathering to fundraise for three India-related non-profits. There'll be wine, great people, a silent auction, delicious conversation, Indian snacks, and, most of all, there'll be fun.
Your attendance is enough. As part of India Giving Day (an annual celebration that unites thousands of donors with India-focused nonprofits and community leaders), we raise money just by the number of people who attend. So, while donating is encouraged and deeply appreciated, fun is the only requirement.
Also totally 100% optional is for you to submit an item or activity to auction off for charity. These can be tiny or humongous, silly or serious, and everything in between. To get your wheels spinning, already submitted auction items include: babysitting; lunch at Google's offices; professional medical research; private yoga classes; autographed books; the gorgeous painting you see on the top left of this page; and someone to wait in line for you. This is a great way to participate if you can't join us in person (Tribeca is far from places like Tucson, after all). Please join us. Even if it's just to meet great people in a lovely Tribeca loft. No one is getting kicked out at 10pm, but we do encourage early arrivals, who may be gifted a treat or even silent auction credits (like last time). And please invite your friends! The more, the merrier!
