About Event

INTRO is excited to host Ella Lachman for a talk demystifying quantum computing. NOTE: The event is in Hebrew.

What’s real, what’s hype, and what’s actually coming next?

Drawing on her work as a physicist and R&D engineer, Ella will break down how quantum computers differ from classical systems, covering qubits, superposition, entanglement, and the realities of today’s “noisy” hardware.

She’ll also step back from the hype to explore the $1.4B market, emerging applications, and a grounded timeline for the next 5–20 years.

Ella Lachman is a Senior Quantum Materials R&D Engineer at Rigetti Computing, working on superconducting qubits for next-generation quantum computers. She holds a Ph.D. in Condensed Matter Physics from the Weizmann Institute of Science and was a postdoctoral researcher at Quantum Materials Laboratory at the University of California, Berkeley. As a former COO and Deputy Scientific Director at Little, Big Science, she is passionate about making complex physics accessible.
