NARC Turns 1 🎉🥳 Banyoles Social Run with Aquarium Cafe [FREE event with FREE coffee] 🌳☕️

​Can you believe it - it's been 1 year since the inception of Not A Run Club. To celebrate, we would love to invite you to join us for an excursion to Banyoles for a 7km social run around the lake, followed by a [free] coffee at Aquarium Cafe.

​RSVP & Registration: This event is completely free, however we encourage you to register your attendance via this event page. A group of us will be travelling via the TEISA bus in the morning, so please select this option if you would like to join us and be added to the WhatsApp group.

​💪 What’s Happening?

• ​Date: Saturday, 20th September 2025

• ​Meet Time: Meet at Aquarium Cafe for 10am sharp (*there will be a group of us catching the TEISA bus from Girona to Banyoles, so if you would like to join please make sure you select this option to be added to the WhatsApp group.)

• ​Meet Location: Aquarium Cafe, Passeig Darder, 39, 51, 17820 Banyoles, Girona (View directions here)

​👟 What to expect:

• ​7km social run around Banyoles lake (7min/km pace with multiple stops along the way. This route is mostly flat and accessible for those with dogs or children in strollers).

• ​Complementary coffee or cold drink provided by Aquarium Cafe after the run + some nutritional goodies from Precision Fuel & Hydration.

• ​Social hangout with good chats after

​💸 Price: This event is FREE. Your registration will include 1x complementary coffee or cold drink. Please purchase additional drinks or food separately.

​🎒What to Bring:

• ​Water & sun protection

• ​Please wear appropriate exercise/running gear

• ​Bathers & towel if you wish to swim at the lake after the event

• ​A social vibe - no egos, just community

​⏰ Agenda Breakdown:

• ​08:55 — NARC bus group meets out the front of Correos at the bus stop to catch the TEISA bus.

• ​09:15 — NARC group catch TEISA from Girona to Banyoles. *Cost of bus ticket not included.

• ​09:50 — Group arrives at Banyoles TEISA bus station and walks to Aquarium Cafe.

• ​10:00 — All event attendees arrive at Aquarium Cafe for bag drop off and to fuel up with Precision Fuel & Hydration.

• ​10:15 — Event briefing and NARC run begins.

• ​11:15 — Run finishes at Aquarium Cafe where we will enjoy a coffee or cold drink generously provided by Aquarium. Attendees can purchase additional food or drink at their own will.

• ​12:30 — Event finishes. Attendees can catch the TEISA bus back to Girona or coordinate their own way home. Please check the TEISA website for the bus schedule.
