WebMCP In Action (Live Build & Examples)

​The OpenAI's WebMCP Challenge kicked off August 25, and Netlify is a partner. So Jack Herrington is joining us to talk about WebMCP and build in the open.

​WebMCP is an experimental open standard that lets a site hand structured tools directly to an AI agent. Instead of clicking through a form, you talk. Jack will demo what that looks like in practice, including a sub shop where the whole order happens in conversation, and talk through the decisions behind each build as it goes.

​We'll also walk the Netlify starter kits we put together for this challenge: one for standing up a WebMCP app from scratch, one for adding WebMCP to a site you already run. Pick whichever matches your entry and go.

​Credit requests close September 1 and submissions close September 3, so this is the week to start.
