WebMCP In Action (Live Build & Examples)
The OpenAI's WebMCP Challenge kicked off August 25, and Netlify is a partner. So Jack Herrington is joining us to talk about WebMCP and build in the open.
WebMCP is an experimental open standard that lets a site hand structured tools directly to an AI agent. Instead of clicking through a form, you talk. Jack will demo what that looks like in practice, including a sub shop where the whole order happens in conversation, and talk through the decisions behind each build as it goes.
We'll also walk the Netlify starter kits we put together for this challenge: one for standing up a WebMCP app from scratch, one for adding WebMCP to a site you already run. Pick whichever matches your entry and go.
Credit requests close September 1 and submissions close September 3, so this is the week to start.
