About the workshop
Stereum is an automation tool for running Ethereum validators, and can be used to rapidly configure your setup to join the Lido Community Staking Module (CSM).
The Lido CSM greatly reduces the collateral required to run Ethereum validators from 32 ETH to between 2.4 and 1.3 ETH, while amplifying staking rewards by 2.3x organically.

Why join this workshop?
The Lido DAO signalled on a Snapshot vote that it's time for transitioning Lido CSM into permissionless mode, which means that after the onchain vote, solo stakers may soon need to compete with a much larger user base for allocation of liquidity.
The actual release date is estimated to be around end of Jan'25 or early Feb'25.
Hence, the Lido Community Lifeguards want to make sure all existing solo stakers have had their chance to participate in the CSM before non-solo stakers or even institutions enter the fray.
