About Event

Join us for this edition of Hub Meet, where creatives, innovators, and UX/UI enthusiasts come together to connect, collaborate, and cultivate ideas in a vibrant community setting.

In this talk, Lina Lopes explores how AI interfaces can move beyond the text box. Drawing from creative technology, machine learning, computer vision and embodied interaction, she introduces ways of using gestures, sensors and the body as inputs for AI systems.

Through examples and a small hands-on design exercise, participants will imagine how future AI tools could respond not only to what we type, but to how we move, point, touch, perform and inhabit space.

By the end of this session, you’ll be able to:

  • Understand Embodied AI as an approach to designing AI interactions beyond text-based prompts and chat interfaces.

  • Explore how gestures, sensors, computer vision and the body can become meaningful inputs for AI systems.

  • Learn how designers can prototype AI experiences where movement, presence and spatial interaction shape the behavior of the system.

  • Reflect on the UX implications of moving from “AI as chatbot” to “AI as instrument, mirror, collaborator or environment.”

  • Imagine new possibilities for human-AI interaction through embodied, playful and speculative design methods.

Why Join?

  • Learn from real-world experience – practical steps, no fluff.

  • Ask your questions live – get direct answers.

  • Network with fellow designers – grow your connections.

Don't miss this opportunity to take control of your career and move forward!
