Chuck Amuck: The Art of Chuck Jones - Session 6
Charles ‘Chuck’ Jones was one of the most prolific and influential animation directors of our time. From Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, the Roadrunner & Coyote, The Grinch, Tom & Jerry, and a host of others - across his nearly seven-decade career, Chuck pioneered the modern method of animating with personality.
Join us each week as we journey through Chuck Jones’ Oscar-winning filmography of 300+ shorts in chronological order, observing the startling evolution of his comedic stylings and aesthetic approach.
Following the screening (4 - 5 short films per evening), we will commence a drawing workshop, studying rarely-seen, curated pieces of concept art, storyboards, and layouts from the films shown. Bring a sketchbook and your friends !!
