Paper Lamps: Light & Shadow
Build your own glowing paper lamp and see what happens when light passes through layers, colors, textures, and shapes.
In this hands-on workshop, you'll make a simple cube-shaped lamp, then transform all six sides with translucent papers and other materials. Cut out shapes, create silhouettes, layer colors, make patterns, or build tiny scenes that come alive when the light turns on.
Each person will also take home a lamp base and bulb.
No experience needed! Come make something glowy, and stay to make friends.
This class is slightly longer to accommodate drop-ins until about 6:30. It's still an estimated 90 minutes.
This workshop will be led by Tai! If you have any questions, you can contact us at @yumebk. This class may be subject to cancellation if there are less than three sign-ups.
