Resilience in Practice: Expanding MCGB’s Technical Assistance Program.
Resilience doesn't have to be complicated. And it doesn't have to start from scratch.
Sometimes it starts with a leaking roof, a flooded basement, an aging HVAC system, or a building that struggles to stay comfortable during extreme heat.
These are challenges property owners and technical assistance providers already encounter every day. The opportunity is to recognize when addressing these challenges can also make a property better prepared for future risks.
As the Montgomery County Green Bank (MCGB) expands its work in climate resilience and adaptation, we're bringing together technical assistance providers and practitioners from different disciplines to explore how we can turn everyday property challenges into opportunities for smarter, more resilient investments.
Resilience in Practice is a hands-on morning designed to make resilience practical, recognizable, and actionable.

Why Join Us?
You don't need to be a resilience expert to be part of the solution.
Our goal is not to turn every technical assistance provider into a resilience specialist. It's to build a stronger network of practitioners who can recognize opportunities, connect the right expertise, and help property owners make better investment decisions.
Whether your work focuses on energy efficiency, building systems, engineering, design, property management, or project development, you have a role to play.
Come ready to share your expertise, learn from others, and help us shape what resilience in practice looks like.
