NY PEF Retreat: Post-Exit Clarity
Join 20 post-exit founders for an intimate retreat designed to help you pause, reflect, and gain clarity on what comes next.
Set at Mohonk Mountain House, a historic resort on a private lake, surrounded by forest, cliffs, and miles of trails, this is an opportunity to step back from the busyness of day-to-day life and craft a more intentional future. A quick note: The retreat fee is $2,500.
Who This Is For
PEF members who’ve built and exited, and are now navigating questions like:
Who am I without the company?
What do I actually want to do next?
How did fear show up as I was building? How is it showing up now?
What does “a good life” look like from here?
This retreat is for founders thinking about the next season: new companies, investing, health, family, relationships, creativity, service, purpose, or simply learning how to be human again after the intensity of the grind.
Why Join
Connect with other founders who are navigating post-exit life, and build relationships you can rely on, even after the retreat.
Create space to reflect on the questions that don’t make it onto your day-to-day calendar.
Work through your big life/work questions in small-group "personal board" sessions.
Use 8+ miles of private trails and lakeside rocking chairs for unstructured reflection and "walking meetings" that foster genuine connection.
The Setting
Perched on the Shawangunk Ridge overlooking a glacial lake, Mohonk Mountain House has been a destination for contemplation and renewal for over 150 years.
Roaring fireplaces and stunning views of the Catskills will set the tone for the slow, reflective work we’ll be doing.
It's 90 miles north of Manhattan, close enough for an easy trip, far enough to feel like you've stepped into another world.
