Snorkel-Out For Climate 2.0
Building off our successful Australian First Snorkel-Out for Climate in 2025, we are going BIGGER and BETTER! In partnership with Dive Centre Bondi, we'll be wrapping up CAW SYD this year with a splash.
Location: Clovelly Beach Aquatic Reserve (Meet at the Surf Club)
Time: 9:30 am – 11:30 am
BYO GEAR!!
On March 15, we mark one year since the first signs of a harmful algal bloom appeared off South Australia’s coast — a crisis that is still affecting marine life, dive communities, and coastal livelihoods today. To stand in solidarity with South Australian divers and raise awareness about the growing impacts of climate change on our oceans, hundreds of divers and snorkellers will gather for a community snorkel-out.
This event also marks the close of the Summer of Solidarity, a national campaign connecting dive communities across Australia and amplifying the voices of people who witness climate change underwater every day.
Expect a welcoming morning by the ocean with short talks from marine scientists, divers, and ocean advocates before we enter the water together for a symbolic snorkel action.
Whether you're a diver, snorkeller, ocean lover, or simply curious to learn more — everyone is welcome.
Come along, bring your snorkel, and stand with Australia’s dive community for a healthy ocean.
