About Event

You’re invited to Force of Nature’s private event, Seeds to Rise, on Tuesday, 24th March, 8:30-10.30 (8.30 for breakfast, with a formal start at 9) at St Ethelburga’s Centre for Reconciliation and Peace, London.

If you’re a philanthropist or a giver, you’ll be accustomed to bearing the weight of other people’s hopes and needs, confronting the scale of what’s needed daily and considering the trade-offs of each funding request you receive. How do you feel?

Right now, most of us are overwhelmed. You probably are too.

We’ve held space for over 10,000 young people, supporting them on their journeys from climate overwhelm to agency. Now, we’d like to hold space for you.

Seeds to Rise is a climate café for those working in the funding space: a rare opportunity for genuine human connection, authentic dialogue, and the kind of peer support that helps sustain this vital work.

This is for you if you…
• work in foundation giving, grant-making, or funder circles
• feel the weight of the climate crisis
• believe we need to scale funding differently - starting by taking care of our own feelings and emotions
After seven years of developing our anxiety to agency workshops, skills training and climate cafés, we’ve seen young people lead vital conversations, cultivate community and build local solutions. Now we’re embarking on a new chapter as a registered charity, expanding our reach and deepening our support for young people. We would love for you to join us!

What you’ll gain:

  • Connections with others resourcing the climate and youth movement

  • A chance to reflect, listen and be heard

  • Inspiration and hope from young people's stories

  • An opportunity to shape and be a part of Force of Nature’s future

What we’ll gain:

  • A chance to demonstrate the work that we’re passionate about

  • Connections with past, present, and future supporters

  • Ideas and partnership which will shape and strengthen our future

We would love for you to join us.
