​RoboTUM is hosting a high-energy 2-day robotics hackathon where teams will work hands-on with LeRobot SO-101 robotic arms and explore modern robot-learning techniques — from diffusion policies to VLA (Vision-Language-Action) models that connect perception, instructions, and robotic motion.

​This hackathon is open to both experienced builders and highly motivated beginners.

​Never programmed a robot arm before? This is your perfect start.

​🔧 What You’ll Be Working On

• ​A pair of SO-101 robot arms per team

• ​Training diffusion-based control policies

• ​Experimenting with VLAs (e.g., GR00T, OpenVLA)

• ​Fine-tuning policies or building your own robot behaviours

• ​Designing creative demos or solving small sponsor challenges

• ​Collaborating inside a fully equipped robotics workshop

​🧠 Mentors & Industry Guests

​Engineers and researchers from several companies will be on-site to give talks, share insights, and support your work.
