PeaceWave Solstice 2026
20/21 June 2026.
The solstice is a natural threshold. It is a moment when cultures across history have recognised a moment of collective turning.
The PeaceWave Commons is a murmuration with no fixed ideology or cultural worldview. It is a diverse expression of a shared intuition that inner disconnection — from ourselves, each other, and the living world — has its outer expression: the polycrisis.
Seeing the crisis as a symptom, we are invited to tend to something else calling on us—a reminder from older wisdom, a call to presence, a beckoning future, the living world perhaps: ‘a wild god who cannot offer answers’ (Bayo Akomolafe).
On behalf of that commons, however you experience and understand it, we invite you to be part of a world-wide response, to share something already planned or that you would easily do at that time—an online meditation, a tree planting, a village circle, a solar energy expo, a walk, a community art or singing project; it could be a morning session during a conference, a seminar on how to frame questions to AI to evoke ecocentric responses, or simply a moment’s reflective silence before a team meeting.
Shared in person or online, it is in your time, your place, your tradition, your language – and it matters deeply to you.
No single organisation owns it: it is a coordinated commons.
