Join us at Heath Los Angeles for an afternoon with editor and publisher Dung Ngo, as we celebrate the launch of his new book, Knife Fork Spoon: Modernist Cutlery 1900–2025. He will be joined by Darrin Alfred, curator of architecture and design at the Denver Art Museum, currently home to the Knife Fork Spoon exhibition.
In this new book, Dung Ngo spotlights the often-overlooked artistry of flatware, revealing how designers reinvented these humble items in response to new materials, social change, and evolving aesthetics. Join Dung and Darrin as they explore how the objects we use in everyday life reflect and shape the way we live.
The event begins at 3:30pm with the conversation at 4pm in the Heath Los Angeles Showroom . Books will be available for purchase, and refreshments will be served.
