Lecture #3: Gender, Technology, and Representation
DESCRIPTION
Technology doesn’t exist in a vacuum, it reflects the social systems that build it.
This First Daughter IRL lecture looks at how gender shapes access to technology, opportunity, and influence, and why representation in AI and tech matters more than ever.
We’ll examine the structural factors that shape who benefits first from new tools and what that means for the future of work.
