Photography Is… Awakening Play - From Lens to Self Festival 2026

​What could you see if you stopped trying to get it right? This workshop invites you to experiment and to enjoy the process of making photographs.

​You try changing position, following an unexpected detail, welcoming a mistake and letting yourself be surprised by what appears. The usual rules and expectations step aside for a while, so the focus moves to trying, observing and inventing. We share a few images and notice how your way of looking changes when the right result stops being the goal. You leave with permission to make images that surprise you.

​Ideal if you are a perfectionist, a cautious beginner or a creative who wants freshness.

​No experience required. As is usual for From Lens to Self experiences, please ensure you are on time and connected via a computer or laptop.

​What to bring: A smartphone or digital camera, pen and paper
