Alberta is moving fast on AI, and we want to bring you inside the journey.

Join us for an industry event where the Government of Alberta will share what it has learned deploying AI across government operations. From practical lessons to emerging methodology, this is an open conversation between government and industry about what it actually takes to move at the speed of technology.

What to Expect

Technology and Innovation will use this session to share key ideas in the recently published Velocity White Papers. The papers highlight recent progress and identify areas for future effort and investment. We have a difficult engineering problem to solve, and we need your help solving it.

You'll hear from Albertan, Canadian, and international partners and have an opportunity to participate in a roundtable discussion and audience Q&A on using AI to address technology debt.

Alberta's goal is to become the most AI-enabled public service in North America. Reaching that goal means working with partners across all levels of government, within public bodies, and in the private sector.

At the end of the Symposium, we'll also preview our upcoming Agency event, including future sessions and activities in Edmonton and Calgary.

**New: It will be a fast-paced morning with a lot of ideas, demonstrations, and discussion. To help you get the most out of the session, we recommend taking a few minutes beforehand to watch the following video, which explains many of the core concepts and the overall approach that will be discussed throughout the Symposium:

We have as much to learn as we have to share, and we’re looking forward to the discussion!
