​Andon Labs is an AI safety startup evaluating both model capability and alignment. They iteratively launch and scale Safe Autonomous Organizations: businesses that run themselves. Their first SAO was a simple vending machine at Anthropic's office. More recently they have deployed an AI-run cafe in Stockholm and an AI-run retail store in SF.

​Their Benchmark Vending-Bench is used at every major model release (Anthropic, Google) and has uncovered signs of misalignment in recent models.
