Block Your Time: A Digital Time Capsule Workshop at Rare Evo Las Vegas

​ABOUT BLOCK YOUR TIME WORKSHOP:

​Join the Wait and Hope Foundation on July 30th in Las Vegas to build your own personal digital time capsule ;) In this hands-on workshop, you'll make something that feels true to where you are right now (a photo, a note, a collage), and put it on the blockchain.

​Think about your grandmother's old letters, or your grandfather's photos of friends from his youth. So many of the things people made and kept, such as gifts, milestones, and everyday moments, ended up in shoeboxes and attic corners. At some point they were lost, or passed down through generations, making it very difficult to prove they were real, or whose they were. However, your time capsule will be a public record that shows it's yours and when you made it, in a way that's built to be very hard to alter or erase. A year from now, we will find it and send it back to you, so you can relive the moment you captured.

​WHAT YOU WILL DO:

​This workshop is the launching event of Block Your Time 2026, a global initiative to shared our histories with generations to come. As part of our mission to close the technology gap through education and creative practice, you'll get a hands-on introduction to ideas like provenance, permanence, and transparency. These are concepts blockchain is being built to strengthen, and that are reshaping how we think about ownership online.

​You'll walk away having actually made and minted something on the blockchain, guided step-by-step by one of our directors. Whether you've never touched Web3 or you mint every week, there's a place for you here.

​HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

​This workshop will take place during The Rare Evo Blockchain Conference. Spots are limited to 20 people.

​After your registration, we will confirm your attendance the week before the conference and send a ticket for the workshop. If you do not confirm your ticket, it will be given to the next person on the waitlist.
