AI Maker Night is a chill, inclusive meetup for anyone curious about building with modern AI tools—whether you’re experienced, just starting out, or simply want to see what’s possible.
We’ll kick off with three AI makers (profiles below!) sharing what they’ve built using vibe-coding approaches across tools like Lovable, Replit, Cursor, and others. No formal slides, no pressure, just honest conversations about what worked, what didn’t, and the surprises along the way.
After that, the space opens up for hands-on tinkering, idea exchanges, quick demos, and helping one another build. Think of it as a friendly night market for AI makers: everyone builds something, everyone learns something, and everyone leaves with new ideas. Free pizzas so please do RSVP!

Howie will share how he built a simple automation app—developed in Replit and deployed on Streamlit - to speed up Penang Monthly’s monthly social-sharing workflow. The tool automatically extracts each issue’s cover from the PDF and composites it onto a branded background, eliminating a repetitive Photoshop task and saving the team hours every month.
