「我需要工作，無窮的工作，直到我掌握這城市的節奏；我需要休息，無盡的休息，直到我忘記星球怎麼運行。」工作與休息，對你而言是甚麼？當工作與生活已無法完全分割時，休息又佔據著一個怎樣的位置？
2026 年伊始，讓我們在觀塘海濱慢下來，休息一個拍子。在享用以本地蔬菜入饌的料理之餘，細聽彼此的工作與生活故事，互相啟發。
*是次活動由 World Cafe CAT 與 The Picnic Club 聯合舉辦，一月的料理為本地薑。
“I need to work—endless work—until I grasp the rhythm of the city; I need to rest—endless rest—until I forget how the planet moves.” What do work and rest mean to you? When work and life are no longer fully separable, what role does rest play?
At the start of 2026, let us slow down and pause for ONE beat at the Kwun Tong waterfront. While enjoying dishes made with locally grown vegetables, we will listen to one another’s experiences of work and life, and inspire each other.
*This event is co-organized by World Cafe CAT and The Picnic Club, with January’s dishes highlighting locally grown ginger.

The Picnic Club is dedicated to creating unique outdoor picnic experiences, making good use of public spaces in the city, combining fresh local agricultural products with diverse featured activities, promoting local agriculture, bridging the gap between urban dwellers and local farming, and fostering well-being. We collaborate with local farmers and chefs, selecting seasonal ingredients to present a delicious farm-to-picnic feast.

☕ 甚麼是「世界咖啡館」？
世界咖啡館是一種輕鬆、聚焦的討論方式，透過主持人(host)因應主題而設計的三條問題，令參加者對題目有更深入的探討。
第一部分參加者會分成3-4人小組進行討論，每回合15分鐘，每回結束後都會交換組員，互相分享聽到的故事和觀點。
第二部分所有人會圍坐，主持人會引導大家分享啟發，由於參加者在整個過程中都有機會參與分享和聆聽，所以我們可以得出集體智慧。
📝 活動內容
7:00 pm-8:00 pm 席地野餐。由「野餐俱樂部」主持，享用以當季本地食材製成的料理。
8:00 pm-9:00 pm 世界咖啡館 第一部分：小組討論
9:00 pm-9:30 pm 世界咖啡館 第二部分：集體智慧
💰 收費
Standard: 每人$250，包括由「野餐俱樂部」提供的三道菜及飲品。
Supporter: 每人 $150，自攜食物，並只參加於 8pm 開始的 「世界咖啡館」環節。
🏃🏻♀️ 如果我晚上 7 點前無法到達怎麼辦？
不用擔心！我們知道工作和交通時間有時並不穩定。活動頭一個 小時(7pm-8pm) 是野餐時間，你只需提早與我們溝通，並於8pm 前抵達參加「世界咖啡館」部分就可。
✨ 如果名額已滿，仍可以參加嗎？
你仍可報名但會被列入等候名單。如果在活動前有人告知無法出席，我會與您聯繫，以便您決定是否加入。如果沒有空位，會在日內全額退款。
☕ What is World Cafe?
World Cafe is a discussion format driven by intentionally crafted questions, designed for 12 or more people to Think Together. 🌎☕️
In the process, participants are divided into small groups to discuss a question, and then join a new group to discuss the next one.
There will be three rounds, each 15 to 20 minutes.
After that, everyone comes together to share what they learned. We'll be able to take home the main ideas, themes, and insights that emerged from the discussions.
📝 What can you expect?
7:00 pm-8:00 pm Picnic on the lawn. Hosted by the “Picnic Club,” featuring dishes made with seasonal, locally sourced ingredients.
8:00 pm-9:00 pm World Cafe: Part 1 Small group discussion

💰What is the cost?
Standard: HKD 250 per person. This includes three-course and a drink
Supporter: HKD 150 per person. Bring your own food, and only joining the World Cafe part that starts at 8pm.
🏃🏻♀️What if I can't arrive by 7 pm?
No worries. We understand that work schedules can be fluid sometimes. The first hour is time for picnic. Kindly arrive before 8 pm to join the World Cafe session.
✨ What happens if the event has reached its full capacity?
You will be placed on the waiting list. If a spot opens up, I’ll reach out to you so you can decide whether you want to join. If no spots become available, a full refund will be issued
