​Gamelan is an orally-taught, notation-free ensemble made up of resonant instruments played in pairs. Pictured here is a photo of Dewa Rai, at Çudamani (Pengosekan, Ubud, Bali) teaching a lesson on the drums, pictured behind are some of the many beautiful instruments in the ensemble.
