The Centre for Experiential and Career Education is excited to host Chelzy Evangelista (Project Coordinator/Teaching Assistant, Co-op) and Tiffany Ye (Project Coordinator/Teaching Assistant, Co-op) from the Vancouver Region Educational Services (VRES).

VRES is a registered non-profit that is committed to providing individuals in the Vancouver Region with educational resources in a safe and supportive environment that inspires, motivates and sets the foundation for personal growth.

VRES has a list of available co-op opportunities from Spring 2026, including their Volunteer Success Program and educational programs offered:

- HR Coordinator/Teaching Assistant
- Marketing Coordinator/Teaching Assistant
- Project Coordinator/Teaching Assistant
- Web-Dev Coordinator/Teaching Assistant
- Volunteer Coordinator/Teaching Assistant
- UX Designer/Teaching Assistant

Chelzy - "I am a third year undergraduate student at SFU currently studying Applied Mathematics. I'm currently working at VRES as a Project Coordinator/Teaching Assistant, and I love to give back to my community by helping to plan fun and free activities for young children. VRES gives me the freedom and creativity to ensure that I make these projects and events meaningful for everyone involved!" 

Tiffany - "I am a 4th year undergraduate student studying Philosophy at SFU. I have a passion for supporting communities with meaningful initiatives especially in the non-profit realm. Working as a Project Coordinator/Teaching Assistant at VRES, I have been given the opportunity to support families in underserved areas by helping provide free, accessible, high quality educational programs!"
