Understanding Pain
Join us for a powerful and thought-provoking event as we explore Understanding Pain.
Women are disproportionately affected by chronic pain and pain-related conditions throughout their lives, yet research, diagnosis and effective management options are still often limited or overlooked. Too many women are left feeling unheard or unsupported when seeking care.
At this event, we will dive into the gender pain gap and explore why women’s pain is so frequently dismissed in healthcare. Together with expert voices, we will also discuss the psychological impact of living with pain and explore both clinical and alternative approaches that can support long-term pain management.
🎙️Our Panel features:
Dr Attam Singh- Chronic Pain Consultant at London Pain Clinic and Lead for Acute and Chronic Pain medicine at West Hertfordshire NHS Trust.
Dr Vivienne Rolfe- PhD Gut Physiology, Co-Director for National Centre of Integrative Medicine Bristol and former Head of Research at Pukka Herbs.
Evelyn Liddell- Integrative Pharmacist for WELEDA UK.
Cristina Paterno- Head of Research and co-founder of Agora Health UK.
Grace Shaw- Hormone Health Coach and co-founder of Agora Health UK.
Your ticket includes refreshments and a goodie bag with £50 worth of wellness products.
