Bitcoin LARP
Highschool and UH students and faculty are welcome to join us to play the world famous Base58 Bitcoin LARP!
The Bitcoin LARP is a live-action roleplay game, in which groups of people play as bitcoin nodes (computers that run Bitcoin).
As the rules of the game are true to the protocol, it is a tangible, alternative way to learn about the fundamentals of how Bitcoin works at the protocol level.
After this 2 - 3 hour game, participants develop a basic understanding of how Bitcoin nodes:
- construct & validate transactions
- communicate with other nodes in the Bitcoin network
- construct & validate blocks
- mine & build their blockchains
No prior experience or knowledge needed; just an interest to learn!
Please note that by signing up to participate, you agree to to the UH Consent, Waiver, Release and Indemnity Agreement Form found here.
