Black Tech Belfast

​Belfast's tech scene is buzzing, but if you're Black and in tech (or curious about getting into it), finding your people here can feel like searching for a signal in the noise. Black Tech Belfast is here to fix that.

​Our first gathering proved what we suspected: the community is here, and it was hungry for a room like this. So we're back, this time as part of Belfast Tech Week.

​We're keeping it warm and simple: an evening of real conversation with two threads running through the room. Careers (navigating tech, job search, and growth as a Black professional in Northern Ireland) and AI (what's actually changing, and how to ride the wave rather than get left behind). And something new this time: the launch of our community resource hub, practical templates for breaking into and growing in NI tech, left for the next person the way we wish someone had left them for us. You'll also be able to join the Black Tech Belfast WhatsApp community on the night.

​Come as you are. Bring a friend. Bring your questions, your ideas, your CV anxieties, your startup pitch, your "I don't really know what I'm doing yet but I'm interested" energy. All of it belongs here.
