​Maryland MedTech Meetups are exclusively for founders and executives of companies developing, engineering or manufacturing medical devices or digital health products. If you meet this criteria, request to join the event.

​​​You are invited by the Maryland Department of Commerce and Howard County Economic Development Authority (HCEDA) to join fellow Maryland medtech colleagues for networking and light breakfast at this quarterly event, to learn from one another and stay up-to-date on topics that impact your business. 

​​We are excited to be hosted by HCEDA, a public-private partnership committed to fostering economic growth and innovation in Central Maryland. Through strategic partnerships, the Authority supports existing and relocating companies with start-up resources, market insights and growth opportunities.

​Howard County is home to such industry innovators as Welldoc, Integra LifeSciences/ACell, Xcision Medical Systems, Shimadzu Scientific Instruments and the North American headquarters of Ambu. It is also well positioned between the state's sector clusters in Baltimore and Montgomery County, and its population is one of the U.S. mid-Atlantic region's most well educated and technically adept.

​We are also pleased that joining us will be the Maryland Technology Development Corporation (TEDCO), a leading source of funding, resources and connections for the state's early-stage technology companies. Its Seed Fund program includes the Life Sciences Investment Fund, which makes investments into companies on FDA pathways. ​
