Designed to enhance focus by dimming peripheral vision with a novel liquid crystal lens, The Focus Co. is bringing Oasis to San Francisco for a first look at the product.
What is Oasis?
Oasis is a pair glasses that uses an electronically adjustable liquid crystal lens to dim peripheral vision. The visual effect, called the Vignette Effect, acts as an external cue for the brain to stay focused. The darkness of the effect can be adjusted according to the task and environment.
We will have demo units on hand, coffee to keep things moving, and plenty of time to talk about Oasis, the thinking behind it, and where The Focus Co. is headed next.

Who are The Focus Co.?
The Focus Collective is an Irish-startup founded by Joel and Vadim in 2024. Joel is an industrial designer and PhD student in inclusive design. Vadim is the marketing lead having scaled brands across Europe.
