Next Up with Comcast Ventures: Bold Bets & Board Games

​Next Up is a Comcast Ventures series for NYC’s emerging venture investors. We started it to create a regular space for investors to share what they’re seeing across their pipelines and portfolios. Each gathering centers on a topic shaping startups and venture, with plenty of time for discussion and getting to know peers across firms. The goal is simple: to talk about what’s next up in the industry with the people who will be leading it.

​For our first event, we’ll focus on...AI, naturally. But with so much capital flowing into the space, we want to hear where investors are placing bigger bets and where they’re holding back. Which categories feel overcrowded? Which are still underappreciated? And what are most people missing? We'll have open conversations on where we believe the most compelling opportunities lie heading into 2027.
