Care Tech Unplugged 2
Unplugged is about creating a different kind of space, where leaders across social care, health, social work and social housing can step out of day-to-day pressures and think together. It’s a space to imagine what social care could look like, if we built it with intention.
Unplugged 2 asks a deeper question: what does it actually take for something like this to endure? Not just to inspire, or to pilot, but to embed change.
We'll be joined by Dr Amal Al Sayegh, Consultant Psychiatrist at NHS Lothian and QI Lead for Psychiatry in West Lothian. Dr Amal works every day within a complex, high-pressure system, improving it from the inside. She'll ground our conversation in real-world system dynamics, helping us see where change is possible and what it takes to sustain it.
The day is facilitated by Glasgow School of Art, whose approach to creative and regenerative design creates space to think differently about complex problems.
